Pickle plant, Ice plant

Growing conditions

Delosperma can grow to about 20cm tall and can spread to over a metre, if planted out in countries with suitable warm climates.

They are called ice plants because the succulent leaves shimmer as if covered in ice crystals. These are very easy to look after.

These require very little water – drought tolerant and hate being overwatered. Grow in well draining soil/compost.

Full sun to bright indirect light

Can cope with temperatures down to 5 degrees C
