Common name

Watermelon peperomia

Growing Conditions

Native to South America. If feeding, only give it a week feed once during the growing season. Pretty foliage which give it the look of a watermelon, hence the common name.

Watering

Allow soil to dry thoroughly between waterings otherwise the roots can rot. Reduce watering in winter. Mist regularly. Grouping plants can help with humidity levels.

Aspect

Indirect light to semi-shade, but lack of light can cause growing issues

Temperature

18-24 degrees C, can potentially go down to 10 degrees but avoid placing it in a draught.
